Prof. Dr. med. Steffen Glökler, MBA
Prof. Dr. med. Steffen Glökler ist Facharzt für Kardiologie mit Schwerpunkt auf interventionellen Verfahren. Er verbindet wissenschaftliche Präzision mit persönlicher Betreuung auf Augenhöhe. In seiner Zürcher Praxis spricht er Deutsch, Englisch und Französisch. Seine besondere Expertise liegt in der Katheterbehandlung komplexer und struktureller Herzerkrankungen.
Prof. Dr. med. Johannes Waltenberger
Prof. Dr. med. Johannes Waltenberger ist ein international anerkannter Kardiologe mit über 30 Jahren Erfahrung in Klinik, Forschung und Lehre. Als Pionier der molekularen Kardiologie verbindet er moderne Wissenschaft mit patientenzentrierter Medizin. Er verfügt über Zusatzqualifikationen in Sportkardiologie und Intensivmedizin und betreut Patient*innen in Deutsch, Englisch, Niederländisch und Schwedisch.
Dr. med. Christian Steffen
Dr. med. Christian Steffen vereint über 30 Jahre Erfahrung in Kardiologie und Innerer Medizin mit ganzheitlicher Patientenbetreuung. Nach Stationen an Universitätskliniken Ulm und Bad Krozingen leitete er die Kardiologie am Spital Lachen. Über 1.000 Herzschrittmacher-Implantationen und 2.000+ Koronarangiographien. Fokus auf moderne Diagnostik, Prävention und persönliche Arzt-Patienten-Beziehung.

The cardiology department of Lachen Hospital covers a broad spectrum of cardiac medicine and has a large cardiology outpatient clinic. Under the umbrella of the cooperation between Lachen Hospital and the Hirslanden Klinik im Park in Zurich, which has been in place since January 2021, our interventional cardiologists, Prof. Dr. med. Steffen Glökler, MD, and Prof. Johannes Waltenberger, MD, also regularly treat cardiac patients on site.
